01 Who we are

Vistaar.space (“Vistaar”, “we”, “us”), based in Mangalore, Karnataka, India, designs and builds websites, online stores and micro apps. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit vistaar.space or contact us, in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the related SPDI Rules, 2011 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

02 What we collect

Information you send us. When you email us, use the contact form or send us an estimate, we receive the details you choose to share — typically your name, phone number, email address, business details, message and any estimate or package you picked. Enquiries sent through the website are saved to a private Google Sheet that only Vistaar can access, and we receive an email copy. If that service is unavailable, the form opens your own email app instead.

Technical information. This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Like every website, it loads fonts and scripts from third-party providers — Google Fonts, cdnjs (Cloudflare) and jsDelivr — which receive your IP address and browser details as part of normal web requests, under their own privacy policies.

Preferences on your device. Nothing is stored in your browser except what your browser does by default.

03 How we use your information

To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, deliver and support projects you engage us for, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

04 Consent

By contacting us, you consent to us using your details for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us; this does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

05 Sharing

We only share personal data with service providers we need to run our business (for example Google for email and the spreadsheet that stores enquiries, and our hosting provider), with professional advisers, or where the law requires it. Anyone we share data with is expected to protect it.

06 How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and project information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, and for any period required by law (for example tax records). After that, we delete it.

07 Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

08 Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you can ask us to: access a summary of the personal data we hold about you; correct, complete or update it; erase it; withdraw consent; and nominate another person to exercise your rights. You also have the right to grievance redressal. To make a request, email us — we aim to respond within 30 days.

09 Children

This website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10 Grievance Officer

If you have a concern about how your data is handled, contact our Grievance Officer at hello@vistaar.space. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

11 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
